Spirit flight from Burbank to Vegas goes the long way


Anyone know why Spirit flight 1653 went via San Francisco just to fly between Burbank and Las Vegas?

I’d lean more toward military operations in the Edwards AFB / Fort Irwin restricted areas

Wouldn't that pushed them southeastern? Also that would have had impacts to much traffic in and out of Southern California and should have heard a whole lot of griping elsewhere on FT.
