Try the Hotel Neri www.hotelneri.com in Las Ramblas (Barra Gothic section, near the main cathedral).
Also, check out www.tripadvisor.com for lots of info on hotels.

I had a fine stay at the very affordable Hotel Continental and would recommend it to anyone.
