Spain in April with 1 toddler and 1 infant

Hey all,

So we have flights booked for SIN-CDG return. Our plan was to fly straight from CDG to SVQ then slowly make our way up (by train) to Madrid then Valencia then Barcelona then take the train to Paris. We really want to take the train from Barcelona to Paris to save us the hassle of all the pre flight time wastage, since we have kids, also it seems to have nice scenery along the way and because flying and taking the train will take roughly just as long from door to door. Seems like a logical plan for me? Thoughts?

We land in CDG at 7.35am and there's 2 direct flights, on Vueling, to SVQ, which is at 10.05am (preferable but seems tight) and 8pm (way too long at the airport). We could stay at the airport hotel overnight but does seem to be a waste of a day, or we can fly into MAD (direct Vueling flight at 10.40am) and stay there for a few days, but that would affect my plan above as it would mean we have to train Seville to Valencia (5hr travel time, 1 stop, switch trains)

Also, what are your thoughts on the intinerary of Seville-Madrid-Valencia-Barcelona for a 15 day trip (not including landing in CDG day and Barcelona to Paris day), taking into consideration we have a 3 year old and 1 year old.

Why are you looking only at Vueling? Also, on what airline will you arrive?

Note that connections between terminals (T1 T2 and the new T3) at CDG are a hassle and CDG can have very long lines for passport control (both immigration and exit) as well as security, check in, etc. even when there are not strikes.

well that's the only airline with direct flights from CDG to SVQ.

Arrive on SQ J in T1, and Vueling will be from T3 at CDG.

With a terminal change at CDG and separate tickets, the odds are definitely against your making a two and a half hour "self connection."

Yeah it seems that way

Guess the only plausible options are:
1. Fly next morning - Check into hotel for the night and possibly spend the day in Paris
2. Fly into MAD and keep that in our Itinerary. There is a LH flight at 10.30am from T1 with a stopover in FRA (total travel time 5hrs), so no terminal change. but nearly twice price of Vueling. Or a direct AF flight at 13.30 from 2F I believe for same price as Vueling.
