Security Strikes at BCN

Morning all. I am travelling to BCN this week and have just got an email from the airline indicating there are strikes by security staff. Further research indicates this has been ongoing for a while.

Could anyone who has departed BCN recently please post back and let me know how bad it was and the sort of wait time I can expect? I do have fast-track security, not sure if that will make a difference

TIA

You won't really notice but it's worth leaving a bit more time than usual.

The authorities have imposed a ridiculous "minimum service level" of 90% for this strike, which means that in practice there is no strike. So unless they start with some other type of industrial action (which nobody is talking about right now as far as I know), you will not even notice it.

And during none of my recent departure I have noticed any unusally large lines at security (for what this is worth, since I am not using he normal security line myself - just seeing it from afar).

Flew out of BCN (T2) yesterday, no issue with security lines or wait times.

Only issue was travelers who don't have a clue how to get through security efficiently.

Thanks all. I confirm security was operating as normal too - went through on the 11th, fast track, took only a few minutes.
