BCN security opening hours
 
I have got a flight out of BCN T1 at 6am. What time does security open/close the evening before? Would it be possible to overnight airside (well, for 4h or so)?
I have an event the evening before near the airport and its likely to finish significantly past midnight, so tracking back to the center for my hotel seems like a waste of time.

The Barcelona airport has guest rooms available for rent on an hourly basis 24/7 (link).

According to Sleeping in Airports, BCN is open 24 hours a day.

Airside is almost dead after 11pm as almost all flights have departed. There are a couple of randok departures around 2am though, so I guess you could in theory pass though. Strongly recommend checking with the airport when you arrive before you set your heart on this plan. Personally, I would arrive at the airport at 4:45am as I would not want to be stuck there all night.

Nope - the guestrooms are not on hourly basis. Just a full night rate of around 130€. And it is fully booked on my date.
