Question Torremolinos/Malaga to Seville: Train or Bus or ?

I will be visiting Spain this coming September 2018, and plan to stay in Torremolinos. From there I plan to visit Seville. I am not sure how to get from one city to the next: train, or bus, or taxi?

Are there any official websites I could consult? My last visit to Spain was in 1977, and I simply can't remember all the details at this point. I will be traveling with a friend, and we will both have luggage.

Thanks for any information or experiences you could share.

You can take the local train from Torremolinos to Malaga mainline station - it takes about 30 mins.

Then get a train to Seville - about 2 hrs mzre or less/

You shoule be able to access info on www/renfe.com

I like a website called Rome2Rio. If you have your start and end point, it will give you a number of options for travelling and approximate costs (as well as timetables if you drill down). Sometimes it flops, but most of the time it has some really valuable info. Happy Trails!

I took an ALSA bus from Malaga to Granada and it was pretty convenient. They also go to Seville, but it’s about a 3 hour trip. The bus was Supra Economy, and it was pretty nice. Single seat, headphones, water, power plugs, etc.

i spent the weekend in Torremolinos and loved it. It’s so easy to get to the airport and to Malaga with the trains.

I flew in to Malaga, caught a bus from the airport to Granada (ALSA), returned to the airport on the bus, took a train into Torremolinos. It was pretty easy.

Thanks both, TaxGalInCal and bitterproffit. I appreciate your suggestions. (I had actually forgotten about rome2rio - oh, the perils of senectitude.)
