Don't know for sure, but this may be reason #462 why not to book round trips on Southwest and book individual one-ways instead

12/20 - MDW->LAX (Origin is BWI to CMH before MDW) so there may be some through passengers.
Flight leaves 11:20 AM CST and checked in at T-23:55. B-04 which will easily get my an aisle seat. Plane should be a 737-800
Flight is completely full. They had to do some rearranging so families (with very young kiddies) could sit near each other. There was an empty exit row when I boarded but had to take the window as the guy in front took the aisle. Things were looking good until the FA moved some wide load into the middle. Not big enough to be a COS but enough to squeeze me on a bit. Cannot win for losing LOL

Wife checked in at T-24 for SNA-LAS-MDW 6:45am departure on Saturday
SNA-LAS - B22
LAS-MDW - A52
Whatever happened to those trials where a companion could board with the CP holder?

12/26 - LAX->MDW
Flight leaves 19:05 PST and checked in at T-24:00. A-28 which either means I got lucky or it will be a light load.
At the airport and delayed. WN is showing me no love LOL.
long story short, my flight will be full, mainly to an earlier flight being stuck in Dallas so they moved as many as they could onto mine.

I'm A+, Booked the flight last night at T-33 so I was too late for the T-36 A+ auto check-in. Also booked my non-status wife as companion. Checked her in at T-24 this morning and got A-41. I got A-40, so maybe a data point showing that A-List bookings between T-36 & T-24 get auto checked in at T-24 (if we didn't know that already)?

WN 189 RDU-BWI 737-800
T-24
A-30
I was shocked by this as it was the lowest I've had in years but it turned out we went out with 120 empty seats on a 738
