"S" on boarding pass?

Hi,

I'm a reporter with a national magazine. I've heard that there are several airlines, including Southwest, that are putting an "S" on boarding passes to indicate who will or will not be searched at the gate. Has anyone experienced this? Feel free to post here or email me at [email protected]

Thanks!

See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum51/HTML/001707.html The Wall Street Journal did a story on this earlier this week. If you don't have access to their website (subscription only) and you would like to see the story, I can email it to you.
