LAX layout question
 
I am flying WN into LAX. My friend is flying Northwest. We, in theory, are landing about the same time and renting a car together. Are the 2 baggage areas near each other so that we can meet at baggage, or would we be better off each going to the rental car seperately and meeting there.

Southwest is in Terminal 1, Northwest is in Terminal 2

They are relatively close to each other, so you can walk between the two.

Southwest bags at LAX arrive really quickly in my experience. So you might as well plan to get the bag at T1 and walk to T2 to wait for the NW bag to arrive. ;)
