ata codeshare

Ata offer tiket from dfw to sfo ord rsw. and was oferning tikets to sbq mia den
until they pull out. In may it will be only only swa ofering service to den ord rsw. Swa do not go sfo but go to 3 other airport in area.
Why woold codeshare from dfw not available to california colorado florida. All southwest have to do is put those routes in computer. I know it long way but if somebody want to fly it why not give this option to pasangers?

As I understand it, for ATA flights to be bookable on SWA's site, either one segment needs to be on WN or, as of this month, one can book a single segment on ATA, such as DFW-MDW, but not a connection with two segments both on ATA. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this; maybe ATA doesn't want to allow this, but that's how it is.

I guess your main point is that WN doesn't show connections to these states even on connections to WN at MDW. WN does seem to avoid listing out-of-the-way connections, but they aren't always consistent about that.

They also don't publish DTW-MDW-DCA or DTW-MDW-LGA, which would involve a lot less backtracking than DFW-MDW-SFO. (And they *do* publish DTW-MDW-BWI and DTW-MDW-ISP.)
