Thanks for confirming, the discontinuation of cmh to oak nonstop route means I would have to spend a night in Oakland to and from hawaii if I want to use my rapid rewards points.

I don't see it documented anywhere but It looks like they are pulling BNA - BUR non-stop as well from the schedule.

OKC-DAL whacked..... there has to be close to 40 years of history on that route.

Changing times, these are.........

Indeed. Without the Wright Amendment and with short haul travel declining due to security, etc., this route makes a lot less sense. Especially in a world where you are gate limited at DAL.

Wow! I just heard it! They tried JAX-FLL/DAL and it didn't workout so well. Spirit has already been discontinued FLL-JAX, as well. JetBlue has already won.

LIT to AUS, which at times in the past has enjoyed nonstop service, becomes difficult at best with the new 2020 schedules. LIT in January will pick up a HOU nonstop for first time since 2014, but loses one of the three remaining LIT-DAL flights, and the scheduling is such that LIT-HOU-AUS will take almost as long as drive time. When DAL is just a connection point, it makes sense to move some flights to HOU to free up DAL gate space, but it would be nice to arrange schedules so that HOU is more functional as a connecting hub, particularly for an existing and growing market between LIT and AUS. It seems that SWA is gradually conceding a lot of this short and intermediate distance travel to other carriers, even though it was this traffic that built the airline back in the day.

Latest extension happened today. I wish it would have included just 7 more days. Many school systems are closed week before or after Easter. The new dates go to two days after easter. We can get outbound, but not return. We may do two one ways, but nice to have everything on one ticket for international.
