Southwest expands hawaii routes
Sorry if this has already been posted but it appears southwest is now offering nonstop routes between Las, Lax and Phx to certain hawaii airports. I am sure our gurus can provide more route specific info.

I seeing PHX-HNL, OGG, KOA and LIH.
From Phoenix:
2 daily to HNL
1 daily to OGG
4x weekly to KOA starts on 9/08
3x weekly to LIH starts on 9/07
From Las Vegas:
LAS-HNL 2x daily
LAS-OGG 2x daily
LAS-KOA 4x weekly
From Phoenix:
2 daily to HNL
1 daily to OGG
4x weekly to KOA starts on 9/08
3x weekly to LIH starts on 9/07

These are all 737-MAX , 6+ hour flights... If when part or all of MAX fleet get (or remain) grounded, these routes will be unflyable without a technical stop for fuel in California.
Last I talked with WN their MAX ETOPS cert was still pending, so I guess that was obtained.

Right, it will be very slow summer. They will be busy again later in the Fall or Winter 2021. Who knows??
