Thanks, causes if the Rona #'s keep going up, I will sadly be cancelling. Leaving for Puerto Vallarta in the Morning. First trip since March, and looks like it might be the last until maybe spring unless things start turning around. :-(

A new downtown casino? Pool looks cool, but am I missing something? I've never watched videos of hotel construction before and don't see why that would be exciting.

I believe it's the first ground up casino built in Vegas since the 80's
Best sportsbook in the world, amazing pool ( you can't see the 140 foot by 40 foot TV in the construction cam) , 21 and over, floor up air circulation, etc etc
Black tie event starts in about 6 hours, media coverage , vloggers all over Youtube. Casino, book and pool open at midnight 10/28.
The Atari hotel has not broken ground yet and if playing Missile command in Vegas is your thing Circa probably won't appeal to you.
Honestly with Circa opening tomorrow and Resorts World opening in 2021 I question whether the Atari hotel is built before Vegas recovers..........The Drew is sitting 75% complete with construction halted since March and plans to open in 2022. Vegas today can barely support what it has now much less 4 new Mega resorts. Rumor has it Sands ( Venetian, etc) is selling.

1. Hyatt points at Ventana Big Sur (now all-inclusive): https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyat...er-thread.html
2. Choice points at Ridgeline Hotel, north entrance to Yellowstone: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/32631600-post223.html
3. Chase points or cash for Bluff Dwellings Resort, southeastern Utah: https://www.flyertalk.com/hotel-revi...-of-miles-3479
All these have great scenery and social distancing. I would have added The View Hotel at Monument Valley, but it's shut down due to the virus.
Non-urban travel options are out there this year if you look for them.

Good timing, more restrictions in Vegas may be coming soon.
We moved our Jan 8,2021 trip back to February 24 hoping things are better.
