Why is government approval needed in a deregulated industry.

Fantastic! Third local option for me, though I'd have been just as pleased with further developing FLL. More and better Priority Pass lounges at MIA, though - well, hopefully again someday soon.

I am excited to see where the routes into Palm Springs originate. ONT was getting further away with connections and traffic.

International routes still require government approval to get the route authority. I have a feeling this is mostly general CYA boilerplate language.

Any speculation on MIA routes? The Dallas quote talks about positioning themselves with two good leisure destinations for late fall and winter, so I imagine we'll see them before the next extension.

Any additional competition out of PSP is very welcome. Fares can get ridiculous.
