Booked Flight SJC-LAS-SJC for October 2020
I picked up a flight on SW for $97 r/t using a Travel Voucher that is expiring in November for this October. I booked a week at the Mirage and if it all goes to plan fine if not I get my money back. Am I being gutsy?

One thing: You might have considered extending that voucher through September 7, 2022 first, so that it would still have value past November should the flight be cancelled. (You can still do that, by cancelling your itinerary and rebooking -- if the fare is still available -- anytime before September 7, 2020.)

Perhaps -- there's really no way to tell right now what the situation will be like come October. But if you do get to fly you'll be doing so on an fantastic low fare. Good luck!

I love Gambling this way except if it does not go as planned I lose nothing.
I am MLife Gold(:
I picked up a week at the Mirage for $700 and will try to get Resort Fees waived.

Eh, I wouldn't sweat it unless you have to fly at that particular time. I was on a flight that went to LAS from SJC today (via SAN). If they're flying that route today, I'm sure it'll be flying in October, perhaps with a different departure time, is all.

We have two trips in June and one in July currently booked. Based on what I have been following over at vegasmessageboard.com we will be dumping the June trip shortly. July is now iffy so will be then book August and Sept trips. Rooms will be easy to get - if they are open.

Flight will likely be the safest part of the trip.
I do not understand how it will be possible to socially distance on the floor of a casino, huge risk mixing with random people from all over the world in close quarters - visions of the Russian roulette scenes in Apocalypse Now. Expect casino employees to be wearing hazmat suits, using machines to deal cards.

Gutsy? For booking a trip 5 months out where you can still get your money back? I’d say not.
