Is My Booked Flight Canceled?
When flights opened up last week, I booked a 10/23/20 flight from CLE-LAS. It leaves CLE at 5:40am and lands in DEN at 7:05am (#2440). I change planes and depart for LAS at 8:15am (#714). As I always do, I checked current pricing to see if I could get any points back if the price went down. But this itinerary is no longer offered when I'm searching for CLE-LAS flights.
What is odd is that I can currently book separate 1 ways from CLE-DEN and then DEN-LAS using those same times and flight. So neither of my legs are actually gone or eliminated on SW's website.
So my question is, is my booked flight actually canceled? I have not been contacted by SW saying that it is and it is still showing in my upcoming trips.
Will I be able to change flights without penalty - using more points)?

If I read this right, you are asking about October.
October?
Flight schedules are going to move up, down and all around over the next few months. I would just keep what you have right now.
There appear to be lots of flight connection breakages right now. Do not expect any email about an October flight for awhile.
If, they do drop that flight - then you usually can rebook to something else with no extra charge - cash or points.
FYI - WN has already cancelled almost 1,300 flights today.

Not even marginally worth looking at this until August or thereabouts. I suspect that the entire route system will shrink and then, if things are better, slowly expand. You will drive yourself crazy if you worry about flight details for October now.

Same thing Albany to Vegas October
My flight from Albany , NY to Las Vegas is also missing from the schedule in October that I previously booked. I contacted Southwest Customer Service and the Rep had no answer other than that Southwest made a bunch of schedule changes over the weekend and I could change to a new out bound flight but she said my original flight seems valid but not on the schedule. So I am going to hold onto my original flight to see if maybe it comes back on since all the way in October. The new flights are terrible - one outbound flight goes from Albany to Orlando, then Orlando to Buffalo, and then from Buffalo to Las Vegas a 17 hour ordeal when my original flight was already long at 7 hours.

Yeah, I noticed a bunch of flights missing (DTW-MCO-DTW) as well for late Aug-Early Sep, although the flights I booked are still booked (they show up in my account, but they no longer show up if i try to book a new res or reprice the existing one). I think they just removed them from being able to be reserved, for now. I figure there is going to be a lot more juggling going on before I ever step foot on the plane for that trip.

I have the same issue for a flight in 2 days.
my uneducated guess is that they are restricting new bookings on flights that are under consideration for cancellation.
that said, not sure why you can book each segment individually, but not the 2 flights together.
Hope it works out!

I have a friend booked on WN for a Las Vegas trip in April which obviously isn't going to happen since Vegas casinos/hotels will still be closed then. Several weeks ago his return LAS-SFO non-stop was deleted from the schedule and he is now on a LAS-PHX/PHX-SFO connection. When I look up that connection on the website, it does not show that connection 1732/971 at all. You can book the LAS-PHX flight separately and the PHX-SFO, but the connection is not showing up on the schedule.. Does that mean that one or both may not be operating on that day? I'm going to wait to cancel it since I'm assuming that I can get a refund rather than travel funds if there is a cancellation?
my flights on SWA yesterday went fine even though (the day prior) you could not book the flight connection I was on, only the single flights. So based on this single example, your friend may be OK
