ApplePay for Upgraded Boarding Position at Gate?
Anyone know whether you can pay for an upgraded boarding position at the gate with ApplePay? I have several unused complimentary upgrades from my Chase RR Visa that I haven't used since I'm A+. Ideally I'd load my Chase RR card into my spouse's ApplePay wallet so spouse can use them from upgraded boarding position.
Spouse was just added as an authorized user but card has not yet arrived.

I have never seen retail type terminals available. They can only "swipe" a card. And, as another data point, when I tried to use my wife's card once, they would not do it without her being present.
NOTE: The fact that I have never seen them does not rule out they MIGHT have them somewhere. But, since so few people actually buy a ticket at the airport, and very rarely at a gate counter - well... do the math.
