No More HOU-SNA Nonstop

Very curious as to why they dropped this route. Always a busy and full flight. Now instead I either have to fly to LAX/BUR or spend a 2 hour stopover in LAS/PHX/DEN. It was a very convenient flight for me as I go to school in Orange County and its 15 minutes away rather than 1 hr+ going to LAX or Burbank. Also good for all the Houston families going to Disneyland. What was the main reasoning for ending this route?

I hope the main reason is the 737 MAX. I'm hoping once those fly again they will bring back that nonstop. I used it a lot. Using LAX now that the SNA-HOU nonstop disappeared.

Southwest has lost slots at SNA so they had to make some cuts.
