From https://www.southwest.com/html/offer...ct_190730.html
This is a rare Southwest-initiated sale, not a quiet match to a competitor's sale. Folks, you can build a segment run (less than 4 hours connecting time) from SJC to LAX and back for $52.36. Or SJC-BUR. Or OAK-LGB.I have never seen it that low. If you normally buy low fares, you can top off your A-list count for very little money.
This is as good as it gets.
Book by 7/31. 21-day advance purchase required. Nonrefundable. Blackout dates apply. Seats, travel days, and markets limited. Fares valid on continental U.S., nonstop service where indicated; if not indicated, fares are valid on single connecting service. Continental U.S. travel valid 8/20/19 – 12/18/19.
Nonstop flights only, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There are some attractive but not crazy out of state fares. The lowest prices are intra-CA.This is a rare Southwest-initiated sale, not a quiet match to a competitor's sale. The Change Reservation feature is not showing the sale fares. You have to cancel and re-book.
Incidentally, canceling and re-booking often (always?) changes the funds expiration to a day earlier. Southwest has been aware of this bug for weeks but it persists. I have not been inconvenienced other than having to change the dates in my spreadsheet rather than copying and pasting.

Alaska is at it again. $29 fares are alive for SJC-LAX and SJC-BUR. Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
Southwest has a 3-day sale for $49 covering OAK-LAX and SFO-LAX five days a week.
Both of these end Thursday night.

I just booked the Mother of all Segment Runs ... I'll post the details the day before if I can actually get away all day, but I just might must make CP again this year
