A minimum of 85,000 points after meeting the minimum spend and all the points count towards the companion pass. I wonder if or when the 110,000 points needed for the companion pass are going to increase.

With this large a bonus I wonder how long today's 78 points per dollar redemption rate will last. Fiat currency always inflates.

Don't new cards usually have a higher sign up bonus? Not sure 80k is going to be the norm.

Didn't think of that but you are probably right. Nevertheless it's a very good opportunity for someone to get within striking distance of the companion pass with one card.

If I thought I could get approved for a business card, I'd do it right now since I currently have about 25,000 CPQP's.

I hope that doesn't happen. The points along with cash are both being devalued already just from regular price increases.

Quite sure this is the largest WN CC signup bonus ever.

Huge IMO for a $195 card.

If it gets much closer to 100, non-taxable Amazon GCs at $1 per 100, here I come.

It appears that spending with partners is non bonused with this card.

When the priority card was announced the sign up bonus was initially 65,000.

Rapid Rewards hotel and rental car partners earn at 3x.

From the looks of how the 2x bonus category is setup, it appears that this is aimed at small business owners and home business owner/operators.

2 points: You’ll earn 2 points for each $1 spent on purchases in the following rewards categories: social media and search engine advertising; internet, cable, and phone services.
Overall a good deal. Like the Priority card did with the personal version, this makes Performance the better choice vs Premier.

I remember it being a two tier bonus requiring a $15,000 spend to earn 65,000 points. First 40,000 than an additional 25,000.

I guess I missed the one you're talking about.

From the T&C's:

3 points: Youll earn 3 points for each $1 spent on purchases made directly with Southwest Airlines, including flight, inflight, Southwest gift card, and Southwest Vacations package purchases, and at participating Rapid Rewards hotel and rental car partners.

Ok on the 3x with partners.

Now a reason actually to use a WN card, 3x toward CP with a number of vendors.

Im pretty sure the new Marriott card was 100k at opening (now 75k) and the new Hyatt card was 60k at opening (now 50k). This seems standard for Chase. Wouldnt be surprised if this settled around 60k after a while.

Chase Sapphire Reserve started at 100k and never exceeded 50k afterwards.
