328 babies, all girls, are named Abcde in the U.S., as of 2014.

Two things are inexcusable, providing all this happened. The GA posting someone's boarding pass on social media and the airline saying nothing to the mother for weeks - until she went public.

Now, they're ashamed. Now, it's contemptible.

I agree 100% that this was not something the GA should have done. I also think that the answer to 'Mom, why is she laughing at my name?" is "Because I gave you a funny name".

Giving your kid a funny name and not expecting it to be made fun of = Also bad.

Wonder what Mom was thinking when she named her daughter with a name like that.

Not gonna be the last time people laugh or snicker about here name. Not saying it is right, but just the way it is.

The mom linked the GA's now-deleted Facebook page. Other passengers at SNA are mocked in pics and text. Friends seem to encourage the ridicule in comments. Pretty indefensible.

Posting a minor child's full name on social media rates more than LUV voucher.

Would have been really funny if some burglar saw that this family was out of town as a result of this idiot posting the BP and broke into their house.

Quite possibly they are known around town because of the unusual name.

GA would be out on her @ in 30 seconds if I ran WN. No excuse for stuff like this.

HE shouldn't have shared it on social media but the parents deserve to be ridiculed as this is mild child abuse (intentionally inflammatory statement I guess). What reasonable parent in their right mind names their child something like this?

I was looking for this thread last night. Glad to see it exists now.

I tend to agree with most people here. GA should not have done that, but the mother and that name... come on.

She says they hadn't DONE anything, which is technically different from not having SAID anything.

It's not clear to me whether there was a response. I suspect the mother wants the GA fired, and until that happens, she'll continue to say they haven't done anything.

I tend to agree about the GA though. I'd have some foregiveness if someone saw the name and laughed, but taking a photo and posting it on social media? No.

Get real- as most burglars aren't very omniscient, unless there's a Burglar's Handbook with a chapter headed "Addresses of people who name their children stupid isht", how would they know where they live?!
