Logging into SW Wifi with Chrome on android ...
After the latest update on Chrome (Version 69.0.3497.81), I found it impossible to log into the SW wifi using any Android device this weekend due to 'certificate security' issues. I found a way around the problem, but it requires downloading another browser prior to boarding:
1. Install the Opera browser
2. Connect to SW wifi on the plane.
3. Open ther Opera browser and navigate to http://getconnected.southwestwifi.com
4. Login as you normally would. You'll find that you can get to the login page without crashing.
5. Once logged-in, you can now go to Chrome and browse normally.

FWIW, sometimes I get certificate errors when aboard due to (what I assume are) the planes not being able to reach the outside world and the cached(?) cert expiration(?) has passed- in that case I switch browsers (I tend to have 4-6 installed on my tablet at any given time) and that lets me log in.
