A-List Expedited Phone Service
Saturday, August 11, I called Southwest three times in the early and late evening using the A-List Expedited Service Phone number and hitting the appropriate keys - 1 and 1. Each time I waited 10 to 15 minutes before giving up. I called again around 1 AM on Sunday, the 12th. While waiting on hold for about five minutes, my wife suggested calling the non-expedited number, which I did on another line. An agent picked up very quickly; I completed my business with her and went back to the "expedited" line. Still on hold.
One less reason to get A-List. Admittedly minor, but really, quite annoying.

It's not just you. People have been complaining about the A-List line on social media sporadically for the past week or so. The regular lines have often had very long hold times lately, likely due to the recent weather events and related advisories, one suspects this has spilled over to the A-List line.

On Sunday, August 19 at 3 PM I placed two simultaneous calls to Southwest, one on the A-List expedited line, the other on the regular line. A-List advised me that the wait time was five minutes. Regular line answered immediately after the hazardous materials spiel. I finished my business on the regular line, went back to the A-List line, and was still on hold.
This is an on-going glitch: the A-List expedited line takes longer than the regular line.
