Booking flights with points count towards Alist segments?

Pretty simple. Trying to get my 25 flight segments to keep my Alist thru December 2019. If I book a flight with points, do those flights counts turns Alist earning segments?

Nope, unfortunately not. Only paid tickets. From the Southwest A List FAQ:
The following will not count toward qualification for A-List status: Rapid Rewards reward flights; Rapid Rewards Companion Pass travel; Rapid Rewards partner points except for tier qualifying points earned on the Southwest Airlines® Rapid Rewards Priority or Premier Credit Cards from Chase (as per the rules described below); bonus Rapid Rewards points, unless specifically designated as such; nonrevenue travel, unless specifically designated as eligible; stops at intermediate cities on connecting or through flights; and charter flights.

Bummer. But thanks for the quick response. Guess I’ll bust out the SW Chase card and book it. Thanks.

It's never too early to keep an eye on those $29/$39/$49 flash sales.... though lately they've been $69 ;(

Yeah. I recently took advantage of the $39 sale and booked 5 day trips SAN-Bay Area. But I’ll still be 1 round trip away from securing AList. I got quite a few points lingering so figured I could try to use some.
