Based on my family members' results I estimate the probability of winning 5k+ miles in the online game to be about 3% per attempt. That's very high. 3% of the $67 prize value equals $2 expected value per play.

For a relative, it took just short of 3 weeks for an online daily drawing winner from signing form to points in account.
