Yes, since it expired 3 months ago

Pretty much... First off, I'm assuming you mean July 2018. Regardless, there is/was an unspoken policy that after the credit expires, you can have them reissue it as a voucher that anyone can use - less $100, so you'd have $59.99 back.

Probably not worth it, because you're likely going to be using it to pay her $5.60 domestic fees on her companion pass tickets. I think (but don't have personal experience) that you can use it on fees for international travel as well, which are a good bit higher. You ought to be able to use a good bit of it - I think I'll have a little over $100 spent on companion fees this year, all domestic.

Are these travel funds tied to your names or a voucher good for anyone?

If travel funds and really are expired, call and get converted to a voucher for a $100 deduction. Then use the 2 x $59.99 towards your ticket and add wife as CP.

Better than a sharp stick in the eye.

This was news to me, thanks! For some reason I didn't think you could use TTF on EBCI. Good use for otherwise expiring funds.

You cannot use travel funds or a voucher to pay for EBCI.

EBCI is only available using a credit card.

Well, that explains why I was under the impression that I couldn't use TTF for EBCI. So it goes...

Bad advice, sorry. I guess that's what I get for not having paid any cash for 20 plus Sw flights, lol

Maybe you could book one way flights and use the $$ to pay for a flights instead of using points/CP

Travel funds are locked in the name of the original passenger. That passenger now flies for free as a companion.

Security fees are the best use of these funds, assuming those will total more than $59.99 prior to expiration.

I was just guessing as I have never paid for a WN flight so any cancellations would be refunded in points.

Can the person with the credit buy a flight for someone else ?

I guess if he was going to lose the $$ he could pay for the companions flight ( assuming his credit was enough) and at least get some WN points
