New reservation no longer lists ticketless funds code

In the past when using ticketless funds the confirmation email would state something like this:

Tkls funds applied from Conf# ABCDEF ($1.00 remaining) $15.00

This made it easy to trace back where funds came from and how they were used. On several new reservations in the last couple of weeks this is listed as:

Tkls funds applied from Residual Travel Funds $1.00

No Conf# is listed, this makes it a lot harder to keep track of remaining funds.

Wasn't that always the case?

Of course they could look them up by passenger name.

I thought they could look up by credit card number but not passenger name.

I don't usually remember which card I used to book specific flights.

I would have thought they probably could look up by name but for various reasons don't wish to.

I book well over 100 trips per year, so looking up my activity by credit card number would simply present the entire haystack in which the CSR would need to find a needle. They won't do that and I wouldn't ask them to.

In the past they told me they look up by CC number. In fact, I did that once and someone spent 30 minutes on the phone with me. But it has been a few years.

One reason I always try to use the same CC for air travel.

They *used* to be able to look them up by credit card. This would appear to no longer be the case. Hence the notification.
