Was on a 300 from BWI to MHT last week. They made an announcement that the 300s were done in 2 weeks and that we were on one of the last flights for the plane I was on.
Seats are comfy. No wifi.

First Impression of the MAX8?
It's VERY quiet, both on takeoff and in cruise.
The BSI Mood lighting has some new settings, but otherwise the interior is very similar to the 800s.
Also, free WiFi for everyone on the flight

After 3hrs of delays, returns to gate, refueling, and more returns to gate, our 737MAX was taken out of service for the day. So WN flight 2 was offloaded. With Gary Kelly onboard. May still operate later, but as an 'old 737-800.
So much for the 737-Max Texas triangle.

Why? A MX light come on that NO SINGLE PERSON on Earth could have predicted. I give them kuddos for trying over and over again to resolve the problem before bringing in a 737-800 to finish the route.
8707 is currently back in Dallas and is scheduled to operate BWI tomorrow morning. Looks like all other birds are doing great around the system.

Agreed, but not on WN's part, on Boeing's part for not making quality aircraft anymore. This is what they get for pushing the 737 design to it's limits. I think it's time for Boeing to put the 737 out to pasture. They had a good run but when you get cheap, cheap products come out.

Really, embarrassing? They went from operating none of them on Saturday to 9 on Sunday (and being the world's largest operator too), and you think issues with 1 bird is embarrassing?
You may not know this, but UA's first 777 flight, which had the secretary of transportation onboard among others, had a pressurization problem and had to fly most of the flight at or around 10,000 feet. What would you call that?
