Last minute ATL to LGA
Hi all,
I just found out that my aunt from overseas will be visiting NYC this upcoming Labor Day weekend. As you know, prices right now for this trip are outrageous. I was about to book a round trip flight for 32,000 points, unfortunately I had to wait to book until later today. When I went back on Southwest's website the trip now costs 44,000 points which is 12,000 more than I have. I'm currently a student so buying points or buying a different flight is out of my budget. Is it possible that the points for this trip will decrease in value as time passes, or do I need to immediate start looking for other travel arrangements?
Thanks,
Mandeep

Thanks all for the help. I ended up booking a round trip flight for 28,000 points with an arrival on Saturday morning and a departure on Monday morning.

If you have Avios (or a friend with some), check AA availability through BA website. Would be 15k plus $11.20 RT.
This may open up at the last second if not there now. You can then save the WN points by cancelling.
