That's not the message most people have been reporting, but apparently access to Southwest's website is currently blocked for customers outside the US. They say they've been "working on a fix," but it's been over two months now with no resolution. They'll tell you to call. You can try using a VPN or proxy server set to show your location as in the US.

I tried logging in both last night and this morning for 2 different family member accounts and was not successful. When I clicked on "Need Help Logging In" got a similar error message as chuck1 above:

1015am Herb Daylight Time Unable to login either via website or mobile app Too bad the SWA IT Brain Trust isn't aware of the storms and resulting cascading delays & cancellations across the central part of the country yesterday so that they could perform their tinkering at another time. |
Been down for 12 hours for me. I tried to book a flight last night. So did my gf. Still can't login this morning.

Around midnight PST (9 hours ago) i couldn't login via the app or via mobile/chrome. But I was able to plug in confirmation code to complete checkin for my flight this morning, so not all is lost.
But just now I still can't login. I also tried to bring up my flight tomorrow via conf code but didn't work... which is a bummer as I really want to change it. (Will just do it when i get to the airport with an actual person, in-person... the old fashioned way!!!) |

Now I just got in... changed my flight for tomorrow. Appear to have full access to my account.
