The inflight menu shows it. Any reason to expect otherwise? I know that a few years ago the menus were removed on a free drink day, the FAs saying the menus were mistaken.

Depends on the length of the flight?

How about a double?

Worked once.

Didn't work once.

YMMV.

yeah- the last couple of times we flew on a free drink day ,my DH and adult son got really annoyed with the FA... both times they informed him it was a "moms or women only' or some such holiday, therefore he would have to pay.... very unpleasant. I reported a complaint so that perhaps they could train the FA's in a polite and correct response on the 'celebrate' days.... not a huge deal, but it's plastered all over the menu in big writing....

Anyone know if Labor Day is a free drink day typically? I have a flight booked for that day... (there are cheaper ways to get a free drink I know )

I kept track of free drink days in 2011 and put in this forum's FAQ http://flyerguide.com/index.php/Cate..._Rapid_Rewards and don't see Labor Day listed. Incidentally there's a problem with the link at the top of the forum, and I'll alert the mods.

Flew two segments yesterday, both times the flight attendants spouted off the typical announcement about beverages and credit cards. I asked on the first flight about the free drink for the holiday and was met with confusion - unsure if it was because I am clearly not a father or because she didn't know about the promotion. It was 6:30am, though, so I can't say I was really all that put out. I was asleep by beverage service on the second flight, so didn't inquire.
