Station or Route Add / Delete Rumors for SWA Schedule Extension Dec 08, 2015

The next schedule extension is on Tuesday December 8, 2015 for August 5, 2016.

Rumored LGB will be announced, and along a few new international city, as well.

Any WN station will be closed?

Let the speculation begin.

DAL, HOU, or MDW would be my guesses in that order.

I think it will be BUR-DAL. That's my guess.

Hope so. A direct to MCO or TPA would be nice.

Is this the first schedule where Skynet has become aware? We will probably see something like BUR-SNA.

No, last extension was the first SkyMax schedule.

The winner is BUR-DAL 1x on a -700. No LGB or any other stations for that matter.

Early sightings:
HOU-SJU goes daily on a -800, it had been Saturday only
HOU-PDX 1x and HOU-SEA 2x are back for the summer
PWM gets Saturday service to MDW again

Edit: International stuff is now in,
SAT-MEX-SAT rotation has been moved over to HOU to give HOU-MEX 2x. Otherwise HOU international flights appear to be status quo.

I'm sure there's more stuff out there but I'm obviously more interested in HOU stuff.

Looks like CLE has non-stop service now to MDW, STL, BNA, LAS, DEN, PHX, MCO, RSW, and BWI. I think it was just MDW, BNA, BWI, and seasonal to LAS/DEN before.

MCO/RSW are Saturday only for a month, DEN is a new route that started this year.

Bill Owen's write-up is up: http://www.blogsouthwest.com/the-jun...e-is-now-open/

He says these are permanent new routes: CLE-STL, OAK-RNO (I remember discussion about its discontinuation), STL-PDX, STL-OAK, DAL-BUR.
