It's been the same between LAX-DAL all week - through mid-Nov. As low as $54 between LAX-HOU but availability on that route has been very limited. As low as $39 between DAL-MSY.

If you are bringing a checked bag or two, a carry-on, and considering the possibility of a change fee, Southwest is far undercutting F9/NK, even if F9/NK is offering it for $19.

Yet, I booked an OAK <-->PDX fare (with points) months ago. It was high then and hasn't gone done, only up. It now costs $471.00 r/t when I checked. There must not be much competition on this route.

is even better when booked with points. I just rebooked my fall break DC trip for 1751 points + $5.6. Good valuation for the points close to $0.02/point. BTW, it was 10k points each way just yesterday, and this morning, it was a fraction all of a sudden... They now seem to be repricing on Monday too, I have seen major repricing on Wednesday, Monday, Friday, Tuesday...
