Drastic My Account changes
The page for "My Account" has drastically changed appearance. Not sure if I like it yet, is going to take some getting used to.

Same here although it doesn't seem to be totally live yet as I'm getting a bunch of errors and deadends right now.

Yeesh. Seems to take a while for everything to load and I'm definitely not a fan of the full size photo as a background. AS just did the same thing--it looks terrible there, and it looks awful on WN.
The old awards are really hard to book now. You have to log in, click book a flight from the drop down menu at the top, then on the right click My Rapid Rewards, then click "What happened to my awards?," and finally click check dates to get the booking window. Guess they really don't want me to use them. I do like having the tier points/segments and companion pass qualifying points/segments visible. The last version made it a bit of a hunt. |
New pretty cloud pictures. No more SA searches if your awards are booked. After much hunting, the new website dumps you into the old familiar booking engine. Lipstick on a pig.

You might have awards that are currently reserved for future travel, or you may not have earned enough credits to redeem for a rewards flight. Everything is so spread out with huge font and requires a lot of scrolling. At least I can read everything from across the room....

Nothing has really "changed" as far as the practical system functionality or actual back-end performance goes. Just lotsa more arts-n-crafts which will require lotsa more clicking-around to conduct one's business. |
