Disappearing flight 297
I have a res on flight 297 LAS-LAX on Mon 10/14. 8:10 PM - 9:15 PM. Flight shows up normally in 'My Account'. I am thinking about changing the flight & time. When I access the 'change' screens & go to select a new flight & time, I notice that my existing flight #297 no longer shows up in the list of available flights. (I check this routinely on my flights to see if price has dropped since I booked it, which it sometimes does).
Curiosity up, I log out and do a new flight search while not logged in & discover that Flight 297 10/14 8:10 PM is not shown on the available flight list. I checked other dates & the flight doesn't show up on any other date, either. I checked adjacent dates and also the prior and following Mondays, 10/7 & 10/21.
I have not received any kind of notification that my flight has been cancelled or that the time has changed, etc.
Any ideas what is going on? Yet another WN IT turd bomb?

I noticed the same thing for Flight 134 LAS-MDW in December. I was going to switch to this flight, was too lazy to do it yesterday, and today this flight has disappeared from the reservation system.

Here is the error message I got today, for a flight I was trying to change in January.
'We are unable to delete the selected boarding pass because the passenger has already boarded the flight. (SW301017-9RY1WDrvSb657HFpl38n1g)'
WN IT entertains me everyday, if nothing else.

Oh - The dreaded SW301017-9RY1WDrvSb657HFpl38n1g error.
Question: Who codes this stuff? How is 9RY1WDrvSb657HFpl38n1g helpful to the poor guy debugging this stuff, other than maybe it aligns to some really long, always unique entry in a log file?
More scary, is that if there is an issue, like whatever IT issue they are having, the error it comes back with is one that assumes you've boarded, which consumes all credit for the ticket... Wouldn't it be a better failsafe, that if the whole thing falls over dead, it would fail towards a status that's not putting your ticket into spent status?
Hopefully this will all be fixed in Q4 with this glorious new reservation system that's coming...

This happens for a half-hour at a time quite frequently. Apparently Southwest sometimes needs to remove a flight entirely from the reservation system to update the bucket allocation or something. It's weird. I've seen it several times.
