It's worse than that. Mdw-Stl was $94 before the sale and $100 during the sale and $86 shortly after the sale.

Raising prices in order to have a sale is pretty low.

DEN to AMA was $86 before the sale and was $100 during it. After taxes it was only a 19% true savings.
