How many points have you earned in 2011?

Just curious to hear how folks eneded up 2011 under RR 2.0 in terms of total points earned. I bought a number of BS fares and my average ticket price in 2011 was probably around $375-$425, so RR 2.0 rewarded me accordingly. I'm sure others will tell a much different story, especially if they flew a large number of WGA $59 fares on short hops.

A+ 2011
244,848 points (will hit 250,000 by 13/31).

Thanks to all of you for your many great posts, tips and tricks and occasional rants throughout the year. I always enjoy hearing what's on your mind! Have a safe and happy holiday season!

Sometime before Christmas I will make A+ on segments with only 55,000 points give or take. Lots of SNA-SFO and SNA-SMF WGA tix.

I guess the YTD number started in March so I have 56,493 with no more expected the rest of 2011.

My 2010 RR 1.0 credits was 112. My expected 2012 points will be around 1,000 as I have an unused ticket to burn through.

RIP Rapid Rewards

~150k. But I've redeemed a bunch of points for friends. Without those, I'd be somewhere around 200k-225k.

229,000. Keep in mind that this is from March 1 and I'll probably have at least another ~13,000 points before the end of the year.

Also, only about 5,000 of these points are from cars and hotels. The rest are from double-credit AL+ bonuses on 95% AT fares.

After today's DTW-MDW flight, I broke the 300k mark: 300688

Since 2011's first quarter didn't factor in, and since I'll be earning double points all of next year with A List Preferred, I'm hoping to break 500k in 2012.

I'll end up around 125k since March on 38 qualifying flights and a handful of hotel stays, but about 29k of that (19k of which were TQP) was "purchased" by stacking two promos and upgrading a MDW-SFO-MDW RT from a moderate WGA fare to a BS fare. I will make A+ on TQP this coming Monday afternoon.

Adjusting the promo and hotels out, I'll end up at $40 per qualifying flight. I'm part of the minority where RR2 >> RR1, as I do enough short-haul business travel where I generally have to buy up to AT/BS in one direction or the other. I don't expect 2012 to be quite as good, nor do I expect to requalify for 2013 A+. But I'll probably earn about another $800-$900 in RR2 credits just from a dozen or so AT/BS qualifying flights that I know I'll invariably have for things such as prebid meetings.

335k miles

I thought my social life sucked...and then I read this thread. 335k. That is all airline points. I don't use the credit card.

My goal is to start using points when the carribean destinations open and between SWA and SPG (hotel) points to go one weekend a month.

What a bizarre statement. How could you accumulate that many points, post here as often as you do, and not know that 85,000 points is worth $1416 and change.

Each point is worth .0166 cents. It doesn't get any easier than that.
