Question any reason I can't interline?

Hi all, having a trip that needs adjusted because of a canceled event.
currently I have a bwi-cle that leaves at 855 on 9/12

I cant make it to bwi by 8 to catch this, so I was going to buy a
7-815 orf-bwi flight.

Is there any reason I can't have my bags checked to cle, and get all my boarding passes in orf? I have done this with 2 separate tix on other carriers before but never wn. THanks

I'm not seeing those exact times if this is all on WN on 9/12. The BWI departure is at 8.50, and you would need to leave ORF at 6. The word "interline" makes it look like a connection between airlines, which WN doesn't handle. With different confirmations, you should try to print the boarding passes the day before; I thought I'd seen that the airports couldn't print them for itineraries starting in another city. But then, if you've reserved your place by checking in without printing, with a near-2-hour layover you can get the BP issued at BWI.

Any agent should be able to print a BP for a flight originating in a different city.

I'm seeing ORF-CLE on that date for $161 + Tx. Can you change to that flight? Leaves a 6 and changes in BWI.

Really? That's not a situation I have ever encountered, and since 2.0 there is virtually no chance I would encounter it in the future. Still, I'm surprised to see that, as my impression from reading the FAQ is that BPs for non-originating cities are problematic. Perhaps the Wiki needs a tweak?

They interlined with FI and TZ, and interline baggage with Y4.

Then I change my statement to "almost never".
