I seem to recall that SWA Vacations tickets will not qualify for any credit under RR 2.0. Can someone please check this and post?

I'm not a big fan of the Discover Card but if you shop via their ShopDiscover portal purchases from Groupon currently earn a 15% cashback bonus, I've seen their Groupon cashback as high as 20% as recently as right before Christmas.

I've never booked SWA vacations before - it sounds like you have to prepay the hotel, which kills off the $50 savings and then some. I've never encountered a travel bundle site that actually saved you money - precisely because the total hotel costs in terms of cash paid plus points plus elite and promotional benefits foregone jump so much when you don't use the hotel's own site.
If I'm wrong on this...and this site can both access all of the regular publicly-available rates found on Marriott.com, SPG.com, etc., and you have full access to all properties in a market, and you pay the hotel directly for your stay...then yes, I can see prepaying $50 to obtain $100 off a flight, assuming you plan to fly rather soon.
