Using the bus from FLL to Intercontintal Hotel
 

I will be traveling to Mia next month and I would like to use public transportation from FLL to my hotel in Miami. The websites are not easy to understand. This is the instructions according to the S. Fla regional transit website.

This appears to be a bus route, but I cannot find it on any web site to date. Does anyone have experience using the bus to get from the airport to areas in Miami? I will be traveling light, so I can walk and make the transfers. Any insight or info would be appreciated and valuable.

Bus #77 is operated by Miami-Dade Transit, the agency that runs transit operations in that county (FLL is located in a different county, Broward County, immediately to the north of Miami-Dade County).

The Tri-Rail rail system is run by a yet different agency which runs this commuter train system betweeen Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

Because I only go into Miami-Dade County when I absolutely have to, I'll leave it to others to comment on the safety of the areas that this route travels through.
