Hawks Cay or Tranquility Bay
 

My boss is considering either Hawks Cay in Duck Key or Tranquility Bay in Marathon, FL for a family reunion. I've searched all of FT, but haven't come up with anything substantial.

Has anyone stayed here? He's interested in a family-friendly spot with children's activities (there will be 3 kids there).

I don't know anything about Tranquility Bay, but I've been to Hawk's Cay and will never go back. We were there a few years ago, and were really looking forward to staying there. However, the room was small and out-dated, the place was packed, and we (including a 4 and 6 year old) didn't really find anything about the place that we really enjoyed. My guess is that it was a really nice place when it first opened, but not anymore. During the same trip, we stayed at a Doubletree in Key West that we enjoyed, and at the Marriott Key Largo which we also liked. We would go back to either of those, but definately not to Hawk's Cay.
