Rooftop dining in Orlando?

Anyone know where I can arrange a private rooftop dining experience?I've called around but can't find anywhere where they will set up a table and arrange a private tasting menu on a rooftop- any suggestions?

The only place I can think of that even has a rooftop you can go on is the Contemporary Resort in Disney (park admission not required). I have not heard they even will set up a table outside, but the restaurant has floor to ceiling windows. That might fit your bill.

BUT - and this is a very big but - it is mighty windy up there. The view is great, and if you time it right, you can see & hear the Magic Kingdom fireworks (they pipe in the music), but I wouldn't want to eat up there unless there was guaranteed no wind. I forget exactly how many floors there are, but 25 seems to ring a bell. I love going up there, but I never stay there for more than 5 or 10 minutes.

The California Grill is on the 15th (top) floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort. And I agree with Mary--the wind would make that, or pretty much ANY, rooftop dining experience a non-starter for me.

Disney will be happy to arrange a "fireworks cruise" on one of their waterways, however, complete with private tasting menu. Would that work?
