Where to Spend a Memphis Thanksgiving

I just relocated to Memphis TN two months ago. I am enjoying the city alot but still trying to find my way around. My parents will be coming into town for the Thanksgiving holiday. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a run down of (Memphis) restaurants that will be open and serving a Thanksgiving meal or if someone could give me a website to consult. I have tried a google search without much luck. Thanks for reading and I hope everyone has a nice upcoming holiday season.

Thanks, you too and welcome to Flyertalk

I would assume most of the hotels will have a very nice Thanksgiving meal, probably with some nice Southern touches to the menu. Perhaps the Peabody Hotel and then you could see the Peabody ducks? http://www.peabodymemphis.com

for some restaurant queries in your new city you might try the following sites:

http://www.egullet.com
http://www.chowhound.com

if you find a restaurant worthwhile, post it here so other FT'ers can benefit. ^

i went to college in memphis and visit about 2-3 times a year. in fact i was there this past weekend.

places that may be open for thanksgiving:
paulette's
la tourelle
peabody (already mentioned)

a website you might want to check out is www.memphisdining.com. it's run by a guy who does all the reviews himself and is somewhat up to date, but i don't always agree with his reviews. i find it useful for seeking out new places to eat.
