Three Charleston Favorites, Anson, 82 Queen, and Hyman's

Anson, 12 Anson St. Great Service and great knowledge of the meals that are served in the restaurant. Had a question on one of the dishes but did not order it. Got a small sample of the dish as we were eating the meals we had ordered. I liked that touch. Good wine selection. Coastal cooking/Low country raised to another level.

82 Queen, 82 Queen St. Low Country cooking.
Definitly get the she-crab soup w/sherry!

Hyman's Seafood Co., 215 Meeting St. Seafood and Deli. Great Deli to get a picnic lunch to eat by the Rivers. Good and cheap seafood, but gets VERY crowded Long waits, get there early.

82 Queen = yummy!

The she-crab is very good. Great recommendation.

If you have some time, drive up to Pawley's Island and drop in to Frank's. From the outside it looks like an old gas station on Hwy. 17... because it used to be. Inside it is a different world. Great wine list, great food. I had one of the best veal chops of my life there. Highly recommended.

Thumbs up good night in Charleston SC

for a great dinner try Roberts downtown. Small restaurant, great staff, prix fixxe includes wine and beer, and Robert the owner, chef, artist and trained opera singer entertains between courses. Much better evening than the other downtown "factories"
enjoy

Where is Hank's?

Surprised that Hank's Seafood in the historic district didn't make the list.
