What are the security lineups like?
 

What are security line ups like at MCO? Interested in recent experiences especially for the the remote terminal midweek/early afternoons.

Went out of Orlando on Monday 10/22. Got there around 10am, if I recall, maybe a bit earlier. Took about 15 minutes to get through, to get to gate 42 for United. Didn't seem to be huge backup at all.

Just bumping this up to enquire about queues for security.

I will be arriving of a VS flight from London and the last time I was at MCO ( in 1999) after customs and dumping the bag on the belt , we had to clear security to go on the train to the main terminal - how are the queues here? ( It will be Sat pm around 5:30- 6pm)

Ah, it seems that MCO has one of those wonderful international arrivals facilities (like SEA and PIT) that forces you airside even if you want to just go to landside.
