Do Orlando area Costcos still sell Univerisal Studios Florida tickets?

I have some colleagues from Europe who will be at Disney World for a conference at the end of March and they seem to be more Harry Potter people than Disney Princess people so I said I would get them Universal Studios tickets instead but Costco doesn't appear to sell them online anymore and is only selling tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood.

https://www.costco.com/CatalogSearch...versal+Studios

Has anyone seen them at Costco in Orlando? I don't think I have set foot in a Costco in Florida in a decade or more.

This is a reputable site for tickets and other deals. Sometimes Sams sells the opposite of what Costco sells, so check what is available at Sams.

I only see them for “packages” online. Don’t know about in store

AAA South (includes FL, GA and TN members) usually sells them online for a discount.

Thanks

They definitely sold them in the early 2000s because I bought them there.

I think the deal at the time was three days for the price of two.

Deals tend to disappear when occupancy/demand is up. If the early 2000s was after 9/11, there would have been lots of deals as theme parks were fairly desperate. Today, parks don't need to offer a ton of discounts. That due in part on the fact that both Disney World and Universal Orlando have new attractions that just opened.

It's unlikely that you'll find any in-person discounts greater than the ones you'll find at the links provided by other folks above.

Costco had a nice unlimited Universal pass for CA, that we got a few years back. Had some busy days blocked, but not that many for $100 or so. They had a deluxe version that included parking, too.

Perhaps call a Costco location in the area and check?

Thanks, I also called Costco and the woman who answered said they hadn't had them in at least five years.

We've used them many, many times for tickets. Both Universal and Disney. Fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

So yeah... I have a bunch of Universal Studios passes that expire December 18th 2020.

Making a special trip to City Walk to redeem the vouchers was probably the most expensive mistake I have made in a long time.

Have you contacted Universal Studios to see if they are extending the expiration dates?

Oh I am sure they will, but I doubt the people I bought them for will be traveling to the US in the foreseeable future and I probably could have cancelled the vouchers on the grounds the park was closed.

Certainly the friends you bought them for won’t stick you holding the bag.
