Charleston, SC - Family trip in late Jan?
Considering taking a family trip to Charleston but have no idea where we should stay. Any recommendations for a hotel within walking distance, or short cab ride, to family friendly activities? Have Marriott status so Marriott properties would be preferred, though I'm open to any if there are better local options.
How will weather be in Jan/Feb? I realize it won't be warm summer, just not sure if it'll be too cold to really enjoy at end of Jan. |

The Renaissance and Grand Bohemian are very close walking distance to all the main tourist areas in downtown. The other Marriott properties will require a short drive or cab ride, including the full service Marriott and Courtyard close to the water. |
