Charlotte International Airport / CLT duty free shopping & champagne

Flying to PLS from CLT. I prefer to BYOB and my wife loves rosé champagne. Anyone pass through CLT recently and can share the duty free selection?

No idea what they have, but I would bet big on them having Moët & Chandon, GH Mumm, Perrier- Jouët and Veuve Roses at the very least.

Note that per FAA regulations:
No person may drink any alcoholic beverage aboard an aircraft unless the certificate holder operating the aircraft has served that beverage.

Why not trying to find one locally?

Duty-free is a practical myth. Yes - you can save the sales tax. But your cost gets jack up for apparent no reason with the same duty restriction whether you buy it from duty-free or not.

DutyFreeAmericas offers online "shopping" but they only have a few airports (not CLT), and IME the online assortment is severely limited vs. what's on premise.

Veuve Rose is OK... I'm not a fan of the Moet Rose at all..

Just a matter of convenience.. we are actually transfering directly to another small island, so looking locally will be difficult...

I'll be in CLT tomorrow, if I have time or am on that side of the airport I can do a quick scope and report back.

You can buy the bottle where you live and pack it inside you checked baggage.

Not a fan of any Moet for me...
And agreed on the Veuve NV although the vintage (2008?) is very good, you may be more likely to find that than the Ruinart or Billecart (of course at JFK/LHR/etc. you'll find all of that and more, just not sure about CLT!)
