FLL International Transfer - I'm a runner!

My challenge (opportunity?):
US Citizen
Returning from Havana, Cuba, Friday, April 12, 2019
11:16 AM Arrival FLL
Flying onward to Cartagena, Colombia
1:03 PM Departure FLL
1. Yes, 107 minutes is tight.
2. Both flights have a strong on-time record.
3. Carry-on only, and I'm a runner.
4. TSA PreCheck and Mobile Passport pro.

My question:
Is this too tight?
Do I even need to go through customs if I'm doing an international transfer?
It is a sweet airfare if I can make this happen (the alternative is spending the night in FLL).
Fingers crossed, and thank you in advance for this pickle!

Hi justmetofly,

Welcome to flyertalk.
There is no international to international transfer in the USA ( someflights can transfer bags at a limited number of airports ie MIA/DFW)

So you will need to clear immigration at FLL , walk through customs with your carry on , go through security at FLL prior to your Jet blue flight to Cartagena.

You may want to look at the Jet Blue forum for more information.

I have connected at FLL on a much narrower window, so it is doable.

Do you have GE?

There is no such such a thing as international transit at US airports. All pax must clear CBP first upon arrival or preclearance at departure.
