Connecting flight in MCO - advice please
Hi all I am arriving at MCO on a Thomas Cook flight from Glasgow, hopefully arriving on schedule at 14:35 at Terminal B, airside 4 I then need to catch a Southwest flight to MSY at 17:05 from Terminal A, airside 2 Assuming no delays, and I have the correct information re airside, is the transfer between terminals easy and doable within 2.5 hours? I do not have checked baggage to collect but I will need to pass through customs/immigration etc. The likelihood of my TC flight not being delayed is slim but I will remain optimistic 👍🏼 Many thanks |
2.5 hours should be fine. Not having checked bags will help a lot. Clearing customs in a timely manner will determine if you make it. After customs you ride the train from airside 4 to landside. You will be required to exit train and checkpoint and turn around after exit to same checkpoint for TSA screening since Airside 2 & 4 are the same checkpoints. Ignore the Terminal A & B since that is not applicable to gates - only the tickets counters and domestic baggage claim. You should be fine but get through customs and security ASAP. Once you clear TSA, you will be fine and there is a food court on airside 2 if you're hungry.

Security lines are long in MCO without TSA precheck. Work on clearing customs fast. |
Thank you for your replies. Very helpful. If I were to have checked in baggage, would this take considerable time to collect but still be doable within my timeframe ? Thanks again. |
